Hi there, I am Camille. I’m a paper flower artist, and founder of Posy Patou.

I create handcrafted blooms chosen for their historic and cultural symbolism. By thoughtfully curating each bouquet or arrangement, the flowers become a meaningful gesture in paper form.

The symbolic posies are a modern re-imagining of the Victorian tradition of sending unspoken messages by way of a specific floral bouquet.

The limitless possibility of recreating rare and fleeting blooms in a permanent form is very exciting, and whether it be small or large scale, creating visual and emotive impact is at the core of what I do.

Each leaf and petal is intricately cut, sculpted and coloured by hand at a seaside studio in Margate.
